From the first felt carefully shaped by hand to the final ribbon tied in silence, each hat holds a fragment of its maker’s soul.

I am Ane, the milliner behind Ane de Cocó. I started making hats out of curiosity and ended up finding my favourite way to tell stories: through shape, texture and quiet details. I work slowly, mostly by hand, and I like to imagine the women who will wear each piece long before it leaves my atelier.
Every hat begins as a simple block of straw or felt. I steam, shape and press it on wooden blocks, stitch the trims by hand and finish the inside as carefully as the outside. Most pieces are made in very small batches, so I can control every stitch, edge and millimetre of the fit.

From the first blocking to the final bow, every hat is entirely handcrafted in my atelier.

Each shape is designed and adjusted to create a perfect balance, a harmony of proportions.

Tiny stitches, delicate textures, and the quiet poetry of craftsmanship.
